After work today, Maggie and I met our friend, Kellie and her mom, Mary, and we went to the Whitefish Farmers Market. Kellie has a corgi named Pansey and her mom has a Airedoodle named Tuaca. There were so many dogs there, and Maggie loved it. Here are a few iPhone snaps.




 There was even an Italian Greyhound there whose name was Jeffrey!
 And a goat!

 As you can see, Maggie and Pansey never, apparently, get any attention at home...


The market is every Tuesday evening, so we'll go whenever we can!  Maggie, needless to say, was exhausted afterwards, and fell asleep as soon as she got home...

I'm moving to Montana. To Kalispell, Montana, actually. So much is going on right now that I thought perhaps a new blog would help me out. I've lived in the Dallas area since 2004, and it's time for a change.  2017 is the Year of Adventure for me, and I'm ready for it. My only child and her husband live in Whitefish, and it'll be really nice to live close by. Today I went to the Whitefish Downtown Farmers Market, which is held every Tuesday from 5 until 7:30 pm. Today's was the first market of the season. It was hot outside, but that didn't keep the people away! Lots of laughter, music, dogs, bright colors, kids twirling around, and some very good booths. When it's not such a hot day, I'll bring Maggie. Here's a few snaps.

It's been a weekend of packing procrastination for me. Yesterday, I bought a new car, suitable for Montana winters. It's a Subaru Forester, and it's a nice ride. I miss my sporty little car, but it would've been useless in bad weather. So buying the car took some time, and then I had a nice dinner with the new owner of my house here in Texas. She bought it the end of March, and it worked out well for both of us for me to rent back until I head for Kalispell. Anyway, by the time I got home, it was too late to pack, and I was tired, so, yes, I went to sleep instead. Last year, I purchased watercolor supplies with the thought of taking a couple of classes from my artist friend, Derenda. This morning seemed like the perfect time to sit outside on my patio and have a lesson.  But before that, I made a good breakfast for both of us, with biscuits. By the time the lesson was over, it was already mid-afternoon, so I did pack a few more boxes...emptying the linen clos
